UPHOLSTERY YARNS

Any fibre or thread may be used by manufacturers for the manufacture of upholstery textiles. For instance, fabric for upholstery is commonly made from natural materials such as cotton, wool and linen.

Twisted

The twist creates strength in the yarn, as strength is dependent on the twist. Higher twist yarn produces more power in it. It is also called mock twisted yarns.

ITY

ITY Yarn is an abbreviation for Intermingled textured yarn, also known as BSY (Bi-shrinkage Yarn) . ITY is created by a continuous mixing of POY and FDY, which results in the production of yarn with different shrinkage coefficients commonly known as BSY. The unique components of the yarns are mixed in a regulated manner to achieve the desired effect. ITY yarns mainly used for twisting, weaving, and knitting

IDY

Production of Industrial Yarns (IDY) is the ultimate discipline in filament production. A large range of ingredients, properties and applications are covered by industrial yarns. The market is divided into large segments on the basis of rigorous requirements for tenacity, elongation and shrinkage.

High Tenacity

The High Tenacity Yarn filaments should ideally have a cross-section with 5 to 8 vertices, forming a star shape. High-tenacity yarn possesses the capacity to endure intensely hot environments, which can challenge the capabilities ofstandard multifilament fibersto their breaking limit.

Slub Yarn

Slub’s a type of yarn that’s thickened in random areas of the finished fabric. At increasing and decreasing tension, certain fibres may be spun and described as’slubby’.

Thick and Thin

The perfect way of creating a unique fabric without complicated patterns is to use thick and thin yarns. Thick & Thin Yarns change their shape and gauge as you work with them by applying slubs, tightening twists or adding/subtracting various fibre blends.

PVA

PVA, or polyvinyl alcohol is a water soluble polymer with high adaptability and flexibility to different styles and textures. PVA can be converted to shreds such as fibers, liquids, Coatings, beads, lubricants etc. PVA has some useful qualities as a filament yarn, for example its high tenacity.

PVA

PP

Polypropylene is a lightweight yarns, also known as PP. Polypropylene yarns are similar to Polyester Yarns and can be produced in POY, FDY or DTY. By providing masterbatches during the extrusion process, they may be produced in a variety of colours.

PBT

The special characteristics of polybutylene terephthalate fibre are fully exploited in PBT yarn. This yarn is ideal for producing comfortable clothing because of its characteristics.

PU

As a generic name, polyurethane fibres are called’spandex’. The fiber itself is highly stretch and elastic as rubber, strong than rubber, and resistant to aging. It is dyeable, and fine yarn can be produced.
